Zora M. Ingersoll, 93, of Green Bay passed away peacefully on Monday, March 22, 2021. She was born on September 2, 1927 to the late Mike and Jenny (Dumanch) Perkovich.
Zora spent most of her life taking care of others as a nurse's aide and a private caregiver. She enjoyed her line of work and did so well into her 80's. In her free time, she loved reading, cooking, knitting and she was known as the garage sale queen.
She will be remembered as a loving mom, grandma and great-grandma. Zora encouraged her loved ones to do whatever they were passionate about. She was known to let a grandchild or two eat a can of frosting for breakfast if that's what they chose!
Zora was passionate about people and helping others, even if she didn't know them. She was a very kind and generous woman.
Unlike anyone you'd ever meet, Zora had a lot of sass and spunk in her. She was always good for a laugh and smile.
Zora is survived by her three daughters: Kaye (Tom) Holland, Barbe (Jeff) Stieber and Mary Lou (Dick) Prey; seven grandchildren: Dane and Tatum Holland, Quincy (Courtney) Stieber, McKenzie (Kyle) Burnett, Colby Stieber, Jaimie (Joe) Gomez, Ian Prey; five great-grandchildren: Arianna, Olivia, Porter, Bodhi and Raya; her brother Gerald (Jean) Perkovich.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Patti Ingersoll; sisters: Anne Dalbec, Katherine Bay, Gloria Dalseth and her former husband Donald Ingersoll.
Visitation for Zora will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Newcomer- Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301) from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. A Prayer Service will follow at 2:00 PM.
