Zachary Harris

Zachary S. Harris, age 61, passed away on February 3, 2023 at Century Ridge Assisted Living. He was born on June 25, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Alice (Watkins) Greenlee and Harvey Harris. Zachary came to Green Bay through the ABC Program for a better education at the age of 16. He later went to New Canaan, CT; and graduated from high school. Zachary's host family in New Canaan was the then president of Xerox (David T. Kearns) who assisted him in attending Rochester University in New York and receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. After graduation, Zachary came back to Green Bay and married Debbie Meyers, their marriage was blessed with two sons. Zachary worked for Xerox for many years retiring in 2015. He enjoyed reading, collecting coins and stamps, avid sports fan, and a history buff especially of Egyptian culture.

He is survived by his two sons: Jason (Shana) and Zachary and their mother, Debbie; grandson, Jayden; two sisters: Anita Johnson and Yolanda Watkins, one brother, Neil Harris, and further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice (Bob) Greenlee, father, Harvey, two sisters: Sheila J. Harris and Peggy Teague, nephew, Neil Whitehead, one uncle, Leonard Watkins Jr., and one aunt, Lillian Hargrave. Friend and mentor, David T. Kearns.

A celebration of Life will happen later this year in Columbus, Ohio.
