Yvonne Marie Brennan

May 24, 1947 — December 24, 2024

Green Bay

Yvonne Marie Brennan (Antone) of Howard, passed away peacefully at home on December 24, 2024, with her loved ones by her side, after a long battle with kidney disease. She was born on May 24, 1947 in Green Bay, WI. She is the daughter of Israel and Bertha (Cooper) Antone. She attended Seymour High School and later perused a career in the culinary arts, working at various restaurants in the Green Bay area. She later moved to Chicago to be closer to family and to continue her passion for cooking. She would eventually move back to the Green Bay area, as this was her true home.

Yvonne had many interests throughout her life, including music, nature, fishing, her beloved Packers, a good game of cribbage and Yahtzee, and what some might call an obsession with Johnny Depp. She had a sense of humor that most Christian women would not admit to. It really did not matter what she was doing, as long as she was surrounded by good people that enjoyed a good laugh. She had an incredible soft spot in her heart for animals, and would shower any pet that she could get her hands on with treats and love. Yvonne was a spiritual woman that believed in the word of God, but sometimes on her own terms. She enjoyed attending church services with her friend, Rosemary Warunek at Life Church Green Bay.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Brennan, father Israel Antone, step-father James Skenandore, mother Bertha Skenandore (Cooper), twin sons, William Parker and Robert Parker, and her favorite dog that was always by her side, Andy.

She is survived by her brother, Matthew (Joe) Antone (Karen Nicholas), sons, Michael (Jenny) Longcore and Richard (Melissa) Longcore, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Unity Hospice for their care and devotion, and to Dr. Verma and staff of DaVita Dialysis for their support.

The family would also like to extended a very heartfelt thank you to Yvonne's best friends, Jo Northway, Catherine and Keith Imhoff, and Rosemary Warunek. Your presence, kind words, and love put Yvonne at peace in her final moments.
