William M. "Bill, Woody, PaPa" Neumeyer, 76, of De Pere, passed away peacefully in the early morning of December 20, 2024, after battling COPD for many years, and was surrounded by his large loving family. He was born on May 5, 1948 to William and Ann (Aiello) Neumeyer in Manitowoc, WI.
Bill often talked about his childhood memories on his grandparents farm in St. Nazianz. Wausau was where he attended high school at DC Everest before being drafted into the Army. Bill loved sharing his Army memories with his family and was a proud Army Veteran. Everyone knew Bill as the life of the party. He loved singing karaoke, cooking, and had a passion for all things art. Bill owned his own business for over 40 years. His "Unique" sense of humor will be remembered by all. He was a very gifted artist, designer, salesman, and loved to write poetry. Bill had a zeal for taking pictures and home videos, and spent hours editing to give his own custom touch.
Bill is survived by his three loving children: Christina (Scott) Lade, Anthony (Amy Cawman) Neumeyer, and Brooke (Kenny Dorsch) Neumeyer and their mother, Sandra Neumeyer; nine grandchildren: Britney (Anthony) Raspor, Zakk (Quinn) Lade, Reece (Emily) Lade, Abigail (Bobby) Beelen, Emma (Luke Spelman) Neumeyer, Ella McQuaid, Cole McQuaid, Cali (Shane Valentine) Carlson, and Joey Baemmert; four great-grandchildren and two future great grandchildren on the way; four siblings: Judy Radder, Nancy (Rob) Strong, John Neumeyer, and Tane' (Dave) Van Rite; he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers-in-law, David Radder, David Truttmann and Michael Herman; and Sandra's parents, Warren and Doris Truttmann.
Celebration of Life to be held Saturday June 14th at Voyageur Park in the Nelson Family Pavilion, starting at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers or charities you can contribute to Bills big party he wanted! Please forward cards an gifts to Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave Green Bay, WI 54301, and they will forward them to the family. Private family inurnment will take place at Nicolet Memorial Gardens, Green Bay.
