William "Bill" Framke, 86, of Green Bay, WI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born on September 16th, 1935 to the late Clarence and Genevieve (Stamps) Framke in Chicago, IL.
Upon graduating from Leo High School, Bill joined the United States Navy where he served his country proudly from 1954 – 1958 on the U.S.S. Casa Grande.
When Bill returned home, he married the love of his life, Mary Goedert on September 15, 1962. Together they raised their three children.
Bill worked for IBM for over 25 years. In retirement, he was an assistant football coach at Preble High School from 1993 – 2010.
Bill was an avid woodworker, golfer, and fisherman. He was also a diehard Notre Dame football fan. Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was very proud of them all.
Bill is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary; children: Mike (Kathy) Framke, Joe (Jean) Framke and Karen (Kyle) Brunner; grandchildren: Kyle Scofield, Anthony (Brittany) Framke, Eric (Tracey) Framke, Dane Framke, Blake Framke, Elsa Brunner and Emma Brunner; great-granddaughters: Jade and Scarlet Framke; his brother Jim (Ann) Framke and sister Betty (Darv) Papcke.
Along with his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his brother Spencer "Mickey" (Dolores) Framke and his two sisters, Margaret "Peggy" (William) Sanna and Mary Ellen Framke.
Private services for Bill will be held at a later date.
