William E. Steier, 67, Oconto, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014, surrounded by his family.
He was born on February 21, 1947, in Marinette, WI, to Emil & Agnes Steier.
Bill served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, serving in two tours and receiving many decorations.
He married Yvonne Steier on August 15, 1970. She preceded him in death on January 18, 2014.
Bill worked for Cruiser's Yacht and more recently was employed by Kobussen Bus Lines.
He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Bill spent his Sunday's with friends, watching Packer games.
Survivors include his children, Kerry (Jeremy) Salewski, Lisa (John) McFadden, Craig (Jenna) Steier and Jason (Rachel) Steier; grandchildren, Breanna, Jonathon, Donovan, Adelyn, Mariah, Marissa, Tori, Ethen, Sean, and Samantha; great-grandson, Caleb; father, Emil Steier; siblings, Joe (Shirley) Steier, Susan (Doug) Allen, Jack (Diane) Steier, Debbie (Mike) Pecor, Lois (Luke) Jagodzinski, Kathy (Terry) Smith, Ann (Curt) Kroll, Randy Steier and Lori (Todd) Ratzburg.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne; mother, Agnes Steier; and niece and nephews.
Private family services were held.
