Wayne W. Rohde, age 68, of Green Bay, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at home, surrounded by his loving family and friends after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born July 14, 1948 in Shawano, WI to the late Harvey Martin and Caroline (Braun) Rohde and was a 1966 graduate of Shawano High School.
Wayne attended college at NWTC where he earned an Associate's Degree. He married Sharon on March 29, 1969 in Shawano and together they shared 47 loving years of marriage. He worked as a machinist at Industrial Engraving, retiring after 37 years of employment. Wayne was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, biking, camping. He most enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; 2 daughters, Jennifer Lynn Keis and Stephanie Mae (Eric) Ashley; 4 grandchildren: Destin, Julia, Rayne, and Spencer. Wayne also leaves his brother: Eugene (Mary) Rohde, many other extended family and his beloved pet Louie. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Benjamin Floyd.
Visitation will be held at ST. PAUL'S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH (341 Wilson Ave, Green Bay), Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 9 to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be in Lake Drive Cemetery, Wescott. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Parkinson's organization of your choice.
