Wayne N. Luedeman

Wayne Norman Luedeman, 65, Green Bay, passed into his Saviors loving arms at the Unity Hospice Residence, with his family by his side on Saturday, November 30, 2013.

He was born on May 4, 1948, in Green Bay, the son of Norman & Doris (Schneider) Luedeman.

Wayne graduated from West High School, the class of 66.

He was united in marriage to Patricia Buschmann on December 28, 1966, at Nativity Parish.

Wayne served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years.

He was a maintenance electrician and worked at Proctor & Gamble for 30 years. He was further employed at D & D Lighting.

Wayne enjoyed his life. He was sociable, and had such a warm smile. He loved traveling, spending times at his cottage with his family and friends, and boating and fishing with his grandsons.

Wayne enjoyed golfing, hunting, playing pool, cards, cribbage, NASCAR, Packer games, listening to music and cooking for family and friends.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Patricia; his son, Tim (Laura) Luedeman; daughter, Tammy (Corey) Salm; grandsons, Corey and Adam Salm; five brothers, two sisters and their spouses, Gary, Alan and John Luedeman, Norman (Brenda) Luedeman, Bill (Kathy) Luedeman, Diane (Robert) Mayer, Karen (Tom) Hall; many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Phyllis Buschmann; in-laws, Roger & Ginny Buschmann, Linda & Joe Kummerer, Terri & Jim Sot; nieces and nephews; and his special canine friend, Heidi.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman & Doris Luedeman; father-in-law, Darrell Buschmann; brother-in-law, Tim Morgan Sr.; nephew, Dustin Morgan; sister-in-law, Cindy Doubeck; and niece Tara Stascak.

Private family services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Wayne's name.

The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Unity Hospice for their loving care, guidance and support to the family.
