Wayne De Villers, age 53, of Howard, WI, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, June 14, 2016. He was born April 1, 1963 in Green Bay, WI, son of August and Agnes (Draye) De Villers.
Wayne started Oak Front Custom Cabinetry in 1984, with business partner of 32 years, Rick Marquardt. He was a well respected employer and his employees were like family to him.
Wayne married Debbie Wojkiewicz, June 22, 1991 in Green Bay and together they shared 24 loving years of marriage and raised two beautiful daughters, Kailee and Chelsie. Wayne enjoyed traveling-trips to Jamaica were his favorite. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved fishing, hunting, golfing and riding his 1984 Harley Low-Rider. Wayne was an avid sports fan and especially loved cheering on his Green Bay Packers. Wayne most treasured time spent with his family. His family remembers him as a man who was willing to do anything for anyone that needed him. He had a great sense of humor and his fun and goofy nature will be dearly missed.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Debbie; his daughters, Kailee and Chelsie; his mother, Agnes De Villers; 7 sisters and a brother: Sharon (Bruce) Meulemans, Sobieski, Marilyn (Duane) Buss, Suamico, Gloria (Dan) Betzinger, De Pere, Kathleen (Charles) Crossman, Bellevue, David (Stephanie) De Villers, Little Suamico, Dawn (Joe) Wisinski, Green Bay, Judith (Dan) Hartlieb, Round Lake, IL and Sandra (Mark) Jermolowicz, Mira Loma, CA; sisters and brothers-in-law: Norbert (Mary) Wojkiewicz, Green Bay, David (Bev) Wojkiewicz, Suamico, Dorothy (Terry) Olson, Racine, WI, Donald Wojkiewicz, Green Bay, Michael Wojkiewicz, Green Bay, Lorsey (Craig) Vieaux, Suamico, Doris Wojkiewicz, Green Bay, Diane (Duane) Denuszek, De Pere and Edward, Jr. (Barb Willems) Wojkiewicz; special friends, James Trepanier, Craig Vieaux and Duane Denuszek; special feline companion, Deahja and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Friday, June 17, 2016 from 3PM to 5:45PM. A funeral service will follow at 6PM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Wayne's name.
Wayne's family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their compassion and care of Wayne and his family at this difficult time.
