Ward E. Kimball, Jr., age 68, of Pembine, WI, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 9, 2015 in Green Bay with his wife at his side. He was born October 25, 1946 in Laona, WI, son of the late Ward and Ruth (Shimmel) Kimball, Sr.

Ward graduated from West High School, Green Bay in 1966 and served in the US Marine Corps. He married Suzanne (Pacala) Kimball, June 29, 1991 in Green Bay and they enjoyed 24 loving years of marriage together. Ward was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching his birds and also enjoyed the company of his cats. Ward loved his family dearly and was extremely close to his children and grandchildren.

Ward is survived by his wife, Suzanne; his sons, Ken and Todd Kimball; his step-sons: Alan (Michelle) Urban, Dana McPherson and Joseph (Cassandra) McPherson; grandchildren, Carissa Oettinger and Ryan Kimball; step-grandchildren: Brandine Kessler, Alex Urban and Dominic McPherson; a sister, Ginger (Marty) Mullins; nephews: Scott, Kevin and Dave Mullins; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-son, Toby Urban.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, May 15, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay) from 9 to 11 AM. A time for sharing will take place at 11 AM with full military honors to follow.

Ward's family would like to extend a special thank you to the cancer team at Bellin Health and the nurses on 4th Floor.
