Vladimir P. "Vovka" Dikhtyar, age 34, of Green Bay, WI, formerly of Ukraine, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, October 12, 2019 at his home. He was born December 30, 1984 in Uman, Ukraine, son of the late Peter and Larisa (Fursova) Dikhtyar.
Vovka lived life to the fullest and was taken way too soon from his beloved family. He was always inquisitive, always seeking knowledge and the deeper meaning of life.
Vovka is survived by 8 siblings; 7 nieces and nephews; his maternal grandparents, Grigoriy "Grisha" and Dina Fursov, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 at Fort Howard Memorial Park Chapel (1350 N. Military Ave., Green Bay), from 11:30am to 12:00pm with a service to follow at 12:00pm. At 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm a celebration of Vovka's life and reception will take place at Pilgrim Congregational Church (991 Pilgrim Way).
