Virginia "Ginny" Frankowski, 81, of Ashwaubenon, beloved wife of the late Michael D. Frankowski Sr., passed away on December 28, 2021.
Ginny was born on November 19, 1940 in Milwaukee, to Leonard and Viola Orlik. She graduated from North Division High School in Milwaukee. While raising her three children she was employed by Woolworth's, Mid-America Bank and K-Mart. Mike and Ginny moved to their dream home in the Northwoods of Three Lakes, WI and returned to Green Bay in December of 2020 to be closer to their children. She enjoyed playing games, puzzles, knitting and beadwork. Ginny loved being outdoors in her gardens, bird watching and fishing. She was an avid Brewers fan and hardly ever missed the game. She made the best darn peanut butter cookies ever!
Ginny is survived by two children: Michael D. (Alberta) Frankowski Jr., Patty (John P.) Gille. She is further survived by her grandson, Zachery (Ellie) Ebben and great grandson, Jennings James Ebben. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Teddy. Ginny is preceded in death by a daughter, Holly Ebben along with her siblings: Leonard Orlik Jr., and twin sisters, Elizabeth and Elaine Orlik.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 4th from 5 PM - 7 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM in the funeral home. The service will be available to live stream at www.NewcomerGreenBay.com.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Home Instead, her special friends, Jennifer and Bonnie. The second floor ICU of Aurora Baycare for the compassionate care given to Ginny and her family and her physicians, Raul Mendoza, Jami Morley, and Kristen Moen.
