Violet Marie Washa (Moore), 87, Green Bay, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Odd Fellows Nursing Home with family by her side.
She was born June 9, 1927, in Wabeno, WI to the late Louis and Lillian (Harvey) Moore. She was a loving and devoted wife, loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, & Friend. She enjoyed, fishing, hunting, camping, sewing, crafting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her Husband, Art Washa; two Daughters: Diane (Gary) Janssen, Green Bay; Rose Pratt, Kewaunee; two sons: Michael (Diana) Kiederlen, Kissimmee, FL.; Kenneth (Cindie) Martiny, Saucier, MS; Step-Son, Leon Washa, Black River Falls. She is further survived by thirteen Grandchildren, twenty-one Great-Grandchildren, and two Great-Great-Grandchildren, many Nieces, Nephews & Friends. She will be sadly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louis & Lillian (Harvey) Moore; four Brothers: Harvey, Ambrose (Andy), Frederick (Fritz) & Ferdinand (Ferdie); six sisters: Lucille (Ada), Zada, Rose, Mary Helena, Alice, & Magdelina; a son-in-law Ted Pratt; and A Grandson Teddie Pratt.
Memorial funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Visitation from 3:00-5:00 pm, memorial service at 5:00 pm. As per Violet's wishes she is being cremated.
