Vernon J Deneys

Vernon J. Deneys, 85, of Suamico, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 19, 2023 at Alpha Senior Concepts.
He was born on July 1, 1938 in Green Bay. Vernon worked as a Laborer for Fort Howard for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He enjoyed woodworking and watching the Packers, Brewers, Cubs and the Bucks. On November 10, 1973 he married Yvonne Paye and together they lived in Suamico. He was a member of Saint Edward and Isidore Church in Flintville.
Vernon is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne; his daughter, Melissa; sister, Rosemary (John) Pagel; and brother, David (Mona) Deneys. He is further survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Agnes, and his brother, Roger.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 3 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (340 S Monroe Ave Green Bay). A visitation will start two hours prior at 1 PM.
