Vera Mae Reynolds passed away in her sleep on Friday, October 19, 2012.
She is now with Louie, her husband of 58 years, who preceded her in death in 2008.
She is also re-united with her parents Elmer and Amy Torstenson and her four sisters, Grace, Muriel, Arlene and Ruth.
Vera is survived by 3 sons: Bill Borgardt (Pattie) San Dimas, CA; Richard Borgardt-Indio Hills, CA; John Borgardt, Alvadore, OR; 1 daughter- Julie Harris (Wayne) Green Bay; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; great-nieces/nephews; and 2 sisters-in-law, Luella Martin-Green Bay and Dorothy Becker (Harold) Rockford, MI.
Vera married Louis Reynolds in 1949 in Oak Park, IL. They lived their married years in Chicago, until retiring to Green Bay in 1982. They owned vacation property near Crivitz, WI since 1973 and spent many happy weekends, vacations and family reunions there.
Cremation is being handled by Newcomer Funeral Home in Green Bay, and a memorial service will be held for Vera on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 5:00pm at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 991 Pilgrim Way, Ashwaubenon.
