Tyffany Amber Stevens, 19, of Green Bay, passed away at home unexpectedly due to health complications from epilepsy on Thursday, July 11, 2013. She was born May 28, 1994, in Green Bay to Lynn Pigeon and Steven Stevens. Tyffany recently graduated from Green Bay Preble High School in June and was scheduled to begin classes at Globe University. Tyffany had a love for animals, especially her cat, Catie and dogs, Niko and Tilly. She looked forward to becoming a veterinary technician. She was employed at Festival Foods East.
Tyffany loved listening to music, dancing, texting friends, spending time with her dad, especially in the woods and going to the U.P. with her mom where they hung out with "her boys", Bryce, Brayden, and their mom, Terri. Together they would go to Presque Isle where they enjoyed collecting and skipping rocks.
She was involved with many organizations and fund raisers including the Pet Walk, Operation Snowball, Sting Cancer, FFA, the Green Bay Strikers, and stage crew for school plays.
Survivors include her parents, Lynn Pigeon and Steve (Mary) Stevens; brothers, Michael Stevens and Nathan Gonion; sisters, Natasha Gonion and Natalee Stevens; niece, Lilly Gonion; maternal grandparents, Phyllis (Dennis) Seidl; paternal grandparents, Annette (special friend, Matt Johnson) Stevens and Steve (Laurie) Van Haren; God-Parents, Sherri Wegner and Robert Stevens; God-child, Isabel Bonitz; aunts and uncles, Kurt (Debi) Pigeon, Sherri (Alex) Wegner, David Seidl, Vickie Seidl, Kim (special friend, Jon Koltz) Pigeon, Rebecca (special friend, Rob Euhardy) Van Haren, Mellissa Van Haren, Robert Van Haren, and Josh (special friend, Ashley Siehr) Van Haren; cousins, Michelle, Holly, Aleta, Emma, Taylor, Sierra, Madison, Zoe, Mia, Mason, Kaylee, Kyler, Kayahna, Ashton, Skyler, William, Wyatt, and Madyson; special friends, Brenna Reed and Samuel Jauquet; and many other relatives and friends.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 S. Madison St., from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am.
