He married the love of his life, Kathryn Ann Schommer on November 27, 1965. The two celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this past fall. Tom and Kathy were blessed with three wonderful children, and further blessed with six grandchildren. They were the light of his life. He loved attending their sporting events and school activities. It was in high school that his love of sports was born. Tom was a three sport athlete in high school, playing varsity basketball, football and baseball. He continued his love of sports by playing in multiple adult softball leagues and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and family fantasy football. He was also an avid horse racing fan, with his family and friends he made the annual trip to the Arlington Million for more than 25 years.
Tom also enjoyed cards, puzzles, westerns, working in the yard, classic country music, and most important to him-spending time with his family. Tom was always there to lend a helping hand whenever he was needed.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
