Tina Marie Buie

Tina M. Williams was born in Chicago, IL to Lillie Mac Williams Bradley and Thomas Ledbetter, whom both preceded her in death. She attended Richmond Community College. Tina married Ernest Buie in October 1978.

Tina touched many lives while living in Chicago before moving to Decatur, IL in 2004. She made many friends, some that became family in Decatur before continuing her journey on to Green Bay, WI to which she made her home.

Tina gave her life to Christ at an early age and was once a dutiful member and more recently rededicated to Next Level Ministry of Wisconsin.

Tina had a natural gift for spreading light. She could turn the dullest room into a ballroom of joy. While loving came to her as an easy task, she enjoyed many pleasures in this life: fishing, crafting, sightseeing, dancing and thrift store shopping to name a few.

The Lord called Tina home on August 3rd, 2023. She was preceded in death by her son, Ernest Buie Jr., and three grandsons: JB, Melvon and Ernest III.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her only sister, Juerrnon; her children: Dorlinda (Freddie), Quennon (Juanita), Sarai (Lance, Sr.), Thomas (Lanay), Latanya (Bruce), Tamara (Melvin), Courtney, Algernon and Daruius (Bridget); a loving group of grandkids and great-grandkids, who were a constant source of joy and inspiration; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will greet friends from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions.
A memorial service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
