Timothy J. Carpenter, age 64, of Hobart passed away on May 10, 2024 at home surrounded by his family following a lengthy and hard battle with multiple myeloma cancer. Timothy was born on November 22, 1959 in Louisville, KY; he was the son of Jerry Carpenter and the late Betty Carpenter Lowrey. He was a 1977 graduated of Mars High School, Mars, PA. After graduation, he worked for Shasta Beverages, San Francisco, CA; for many years before relocated to Las Vegas, NV; where he was vice president for the largest food distributor in the city. While visiting Green Bay for a Packers game, he became friends with a local couple who introduced him to the love of his life, Lynn Delzer. After months of long distance dating, Tim with his trusted pal, Sir Bozley, his basset hound, moved to Green Bay. He worked for a beverage company in Chicago, traveling all over the nation visiting clients. Tim and Lynn married in July 1997. They had their first child a daughter, Jenna Lynn on December 19, 1998. They had their second child, a son, Cameron Timothy, on January 25, 2001. Tim didn't want to miss any of his children growing up so he stopped traveling and started his own beverage distribution company until he retired in 2016. Tim loved his family more than anything. Tim is remembered by his family and friends as the nicest guy they ever met. He was a fun, outgoing and supportive person that would help someone else before himself. Tim was an active member of the Mars Volunteer Fire and Rescue, while living in Mars. He was a long time member of Peace Lutheran Church and has served on the Hobart Village Board for many years. He also served two terms on the Brown County Board of Supervisors representing Hobart and Howard. He loved spending time at the "Hunting Camp" with his son and close friends, Paul and Jerry. His favorite way to spend his free time was doing anything with his children.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn, of 26 years; daughter, Jenna, son, Cameron, father, Jerry (Raenita) Carpenter, brother, Douglas Carpenter, sister-in-law, Diane Carpenter, brothers-in-law: Scott (Denise) Delzer, and Daniel (Ann) Delzer; sister-in-law, Donna (Howard) Messenger, nephews: Shawn, Daniel, Matthew, Kyle (Shaye), and Wayne (Annelise); nieces: Heather, Jessica (Nate), Miranda (Greg), and Mindy; great-nephews: Hunter, Noah, Seth, Hugo, Finn, and Isaac; and great-nieces: Mirkella, Macy, Liliana, Hazel, Joselyn, Allison, Alivia, and Isabelle.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Carpenter Lowery, step-father, Dean Lowery, brother, Michael Carpenter, father-in-law, Hugo Delzer, mother-in-law, Betty Delzer (Sosinske).
Private funeral services will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
