Timothy T. Blaser

August 24, 1957 — February 10, 2022

Timothy T. "Tim" Blaser, age 64, a lifelong resident of Green Bay, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 10, 2022. He was born August 24, 1957, son of the late Louis V. Blaser and Edna F. (Denis) Blaser.

Tim was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, Class of 1975 and subsequently earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from UW-Green Bay.

Tim was an intelligent, talented person who was always curious and learned quickly. As a teenager, he single-handedly replaced a car transmission and remodeled an old hydroplane boat. Tim had a passion for classic Corvettes. He enjoyed antiquing with Cary, his high school sweetheart and long-time friend. He got a kick out of finding hidden treasures at low prices and turning old stuff into beautiful or interesting objects.

He was a great storyteller and often talked about staying with his grandparents in the 1960's at the Eagles Nest Marina on Green Bay. He did the typical stuff as a young man with cars, buddies, going to parties and meeting girls. Tim excelled at football, hockey and waterskiing. In later years, he sped along the Fox River Trail on roller blades.

Tim was a great fan of literature and was an avid reader. He encouraged people to read classic books, particularly Ernest Hemingway—Tim loved his novels and reading about his real-life adventures. Like Hemingway, Tim liked to describe things in smaller, simple words.

His early career started as a manager in the transportation industry. Later, he pursued a career in sales. For the past ten years, Tim was the owner of Blaser Equipment Appraisals, Inc. which he took over from his father. He missed his dad very much; like his dad, Tim had a compassionate side hidden under a tough-guy exterior.

Tim was blessed with a daughter, Alexis, whom he loved very much. They spent many happy moments together and he was very proud of her. He was a fun uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Alexis Blaser; his mother, Edna F. Blaser and 4 siblings: Lisa (Bruce) del Solar, Dennis (Karen) Blaser, Patrick (Barbara Kane) Blaser and John (Stephanie) Blaser; and several nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his special friend of many years, Cary Siegrist, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis V. Blaser.
