Thomas A. Van Pay, age 71, passed away on August 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family, after a long struggle with cancer. He was born on February 5, 1950 in Green Bay son of the late Donald and Margaret (Blaejeski) Van Pay. Tom proudly service our country in the Army, during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage on September 21, 1974 to Mary Jo Luciani, their marriage was blessed with two children. Tom enjoyed watching racing and woodworking; many were blessed to receive pens that he turned. He cherished the time that he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his wife, Mary Jo of 47 years, two children: Jenny (Don) Gilson and Jon (Caitlen) Van Pay; seven grandchildren: Jasmine, Jadyn, Jocelyn, Alyvia, Ayden, Jackson, and Bentley; further survived by siblings, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Friends and family may visit at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W7265 School Road, Greenville; on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am with Pastor John Qualmann. Military Honors will take place after the service. Private entombment will be at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd, Nicolet Memorial Gardens, Green Bay. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Unity Hospice, any local veterans organization or a cancer organization of your choice.
