Thomas "Tom" Patrick Kozlowski, age 80, peacefully reunited with his beloved family on September 8, 2024, at St. Vincent. Born on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1944, in Green Bay, he was the cherished son of Thomas and Hilda (Friedman) Kozlowski. His humble beginnings in a small one-room brick schoolhouse in Little Suamico set the foundation for a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience. Tom graduated from Oconto High School in 1962.
On December 21, 1963, he wed his high school sweetheart, Cathy Jendrusiak, at the Abrams United Methodist Church. Together, they nurtured a loving home in Abrams, welcoming their three treasured children—John, Tracy, and Trisha—into a world that Tom filled with warmth, wisdom, and a hearty dose of humor.
For over 40 years, Tom proudly served as a foreman for Spancrete, showcasing not only his dedication but also his knack for being a man of all trades. Outside of work, his heart belonged to the family farm, where he reveled in the simple pleasures of hunting and fishing. Just last fall, he embraced the thrill of nature and brought home a buck, a testament to his enduring spirit.
Tom was well-known among loved ones for his delightful culinary creations, especially his famous cookies—packed with molasses, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. His baked beans were the centerpiece of family gatherings.
He leaves behind his devoted daughter, Trisha (Carla Quinn) Kozlowski, and son-in-law, Jeff Folts; his five grandchildren: Josh (Chuck Drew), Rachael (Ricky Mueller), Jesse Konen and their mother: Beth Kozlowski, Falicia (Steven) Brabant, and Thomas Folts; and five great-grandchildren: Zaiden, Alaina, Everleigh, Abigail, and Zoe. He is also survived by his sisters: Sue (Mike) Roulette, Sandie (Charlie) Brzoznowski, and Patricia (Richard) Groeschel; sisters-in-law: Renee Kozlowski and Rosemary Jendrusiak; and brothers-in-law: Charlie (Wanda) Jendrusiak and George (Marie) Jendrusiak, along with countless nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close. Bailey, Tom's beloved dog will miss him greatly as she was a comforting companion who helped after Cathy passed.
Tom was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cathy, his son John, his daughter Tracy Folts, and his grandson Cory Folts. He also rejoins his siblings: Bill Kozlowski, Doris Kozlowski, Joyce (Jerry) LaViolette, and brothers-in-law: Robin Campbell, Kenny Jendrusiak, Larry Jendrusiak, along with his mother-in-law, Margaret Jendrusiak.
