Thomas Roman

Thomas J. Roman, 59, of Green Bay, beloved husband of Denise (Lind) Roman and loving father of McKenna Roman, peacefully departed this life on Monday, September 12, 2016 at his home with his family at his side.

Tom was born on November 8, 1956 in Waupaca, WI, son of Betty (Winske) Roman, and the late Jerome Roman. He graduated with his Masters Degree in Business from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Tom always had a high regard for education and never stopped learning.

Tom is survived by his wife of 25 years, Denise and their daughter, McKenna. He also leaves his mother, Betty Roman, and siblings: Steve, Debra, and Michael Roman and Terri (Dan) Roman. Tom also leaves his nephews: Ben and Jacob Roman, Jordan (Becca)Lind and Taylor Lind and his son Jace and a niece Jackie Mullins and her daughter Lily. Tom also leaves his mother-in-law, Dolores Lind and brother-in-laws: Dan (Sue) Lind, Dale (Sarah) Lind, and Dave Lind. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Dwain Lind and a niece Emily Roman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15th from 4 - 7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 17th from 9-10:45 AM at St. Mary Magdeline Church in Waupaca with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM in the Church. Interment will be private. The family wishes to extend their deep gratitude to Tom's amazing medical team and caregivers for the love and support given to him throughout his journey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the care of the family for McKenna's college education.
