Thomas J. Ratajczak, age 90, of Green Bay, died July 29, 2021. He was born September 12, 1930, son of the late Thomas J. Ratajczak Sr. and Verna (Johnston) Ratajczak.
Thomas enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country during the Korean War. After his service in the military, Thomas owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. He married Betty Crevier, May 30, 1956.
Thomas loved to be around people, sharing his gift of gab and sense of humor. He enjoyed going to Curative Connections. He was a lifelong member of Knights of Columbus and a member of the American Legion.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Betty and 3 children: Jeffrey of Green Bay, Gerard (Debbie) of Sturgeon Bay, and Mary Beth of Green Bay. He is further survived by a brother, James (Lois) Ratajczak.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Ruth (Dan) Wessley, Beatrice (Leonard) Tremel and Margie (Elmer) Hockers and a brother, Donald (Judy) Ratajczak.
Visitation will be held at St. Bernard Parish (2040 Hillside Dr., Green Bay, WI), Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 10 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Fr. Mark VanDerSteeg, celebrant. The family requests that you wear a facial covering for the services. The funeral Mass will be followed by full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to St. Bernard Parish for Masses said in Thomas' honor are appreciated.
