Thomas R. Maclean, age 77, passed away peacefully at Wisconsin Veterans Home, King WI on March 11, 2024.
He was born in Oconto Falls, WI on September 29, 1946 to the late Harold and Marie (Coshenet) Maclean.
Tom graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1964. He then attended UW Green Bay, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to serve his Country in the Army During the Vietnam War. He served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969. Upon returning, he received his master’s degree from UW Oshkosh as a Professional Counsellor.
Tom wanted to continue to assist his fellow Veterans, working as a Counsellor, at the Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed volunteering at Camp American Legion.
Tom enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, but one of his favourites was fishing in the Oconto River, and Musky fishing. He also was an avid wood carver, and spent hours making wood carvings, for his family and friends.
Tom is survived by his loving cousins: Donna (Michael) Hall, Barbara (Jim) Kendall, Adele Waelchli, Carol Magnin, Richard (Annette) Coshenet, Lenore Chevrette, and Marlene St. John.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold (Mac) and Marie, his brother, Charles (2016), and his beloved dog Scotty.

A brief visitation will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2024 at 10:30 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI
