Thomas M. Moore, 72, Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at his home surrounded by his beloved family.

He was born on February 5, 1941, in Green Bay, to Joseph & Christine (Barron) Moore.

He attended grade school at St. Patrick and Annunciation and graduated from Premontre High School.

After graduation, Tom enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, proudly serving during the Vietnam War from 1959-1965, where he reached the rank of Corporal.

After the war, he went to work for Eckberg Drywall and retired from H.J. Martin Inc. after 30 years of employment. After retirement, he worked parking cars for PMI during Packer games.

Thomas married Sandra Osowski on March 17, 1970, in Green Bay, celebrating over 42 years together.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge #801 for over 30 years and was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter 224. He served as past president and the head and member of the color guard. He was also a member of Local Carpenters Union 1146.

Tom was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed playing softball, bowling, golfing, and playing pool. He enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers, Tarheels basketball and watching his children and grandchildren participate in sports. He loved history and was an avid reader.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra; children, Jerry, Mark, Barb (Kristen), and Kristi; grandchildren, Joshua, Tara, Kayla, Sara, Wesley, Shawn, Allison, Madeline, Gavin and Jarrett; several great grandchildren; and two brother-in-laws, Robert Gavin and Peter Selissen and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael; siblings, Patrick Moore and Mary Selissen; and sister-in-law, Bonita Gavin.

Friends may call from 1:00pm until 5:00pm on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. Moose Lodge 801 will be performing a memorial service at 3:00pm. Full Military Honors will be at 5:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Dr. David Groteluschen and the team at Green Bay Oncology, Unity Hospice and Lee Thomas for their care and support during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
