Theresa (Teri) DeGroot, 50, Green Bay, our little angel left her family to join hands with her heavenly father on December 28, 2012.
Teri was born May 30, 1962 in Green Bay to Thomas and Eleanor (Vande Hei) DeGroot.
She was the light of our life and will always be remembered for her cheerful disposition, beautiful smile and never ending hugs.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Tom and Eleanor DeGroot; two special sisters and their families, Cheryl & Kyle Rentmeester, Kenna, Alexa, Kole and Owen Rentmeester all of Casco; Tami & Mike Tousignant, twins, Reece and Rayne Tousignant, all of Green Bay; older brother, Ric DeGroot, Appleton, WI; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Teri was preceded in death by her grandparents; uncles, Dan and John DeGroot; cousin, Ben DeGroot; aunt, Bonnie Vande Hei; and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund and been established in Teri's name.
Friends may call from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay. A memorial service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00pm with Rev. Ken DeGroot O.Praem. officiating.
A special thanks to the staff of ASPIRO where Teri attended many years, for all their love and concern. The family would also like to thank the staff of Unity Hospice, especially Andrea and Mona for their care and support.
