Theodore R. "Ted" DuPrey, age 58, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, January 16, 2021, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 25, 1962.
Ted was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, Class of 1980. He married Renee Navin, June 12, 1992 in Green Bay. They shared 28 loving years of marriage and were blessed to raise their children together.
Ted always enjoyed spending time with his dad especially during hunting season. He also took pride in passing down his love of fishing and bowling to his family. Ted was very involved in his children's lives even coaching their sports teams. He, along with the love of his life, enjoyed many concerts and beers with family and friends.
Ted is survived by his wife, Renee; his children: Stephanie (Ben) Kolaske, Shane (Shanyia), Brandon, Eric (Sofia Gallus) and Rebecca DuPrey; his grandchildren: Carson, Andrew, Bentley, Blake, Alivia, and Alexis. His step-mom, Barb (the late John) Konkel, his step-brother Johnny (Denise) Roberts, his in-laws Bob and Jean Navin, Melissa (Dean) Moureau, Greg (Megan) and Michael Navin, and many pets, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Dressler.
A celebration of Ted's life will be held at a later date.
Ted's family would like to extend their gratitude to the ER and 9th Floor staff at St. Vincent Hospital, as well as Unity Hospice for their care, compassion and for keeping him comfortable. Most importantly, Ted's family would like to express their appreciation for the wonderful care provided to Ted during his time at the St. Vincent Oncology Department. The doctors and nurses made Ted feel like he was part of their family. Thank you!
