Tara Elizabeth (Peot) Safford, 44, of Green Bay, WI., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She was born on March 15, 1977 to Pete and Bernadette "Bunny" (Zoeller) Peot.
Tara received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Colorado. She went on to work for Prevea in Green Bay and most recently worked for St. Vincent Hospital as a case manager.
On December 21, 2012 Tara married the love of her life Jim Safford. Together they enjoyed vacationing in Mexico, riding their Harley, hanging out together on their back patio, going out onto the pontoon boat and spending time with her kids and the rest of her family.
Tara is survived by her husband Jim; her two children: Taylor and Cayden Albers; her father Pete Peot; her brother Chuck Peot; niece and nephews: Maya Peot, Dane Peot and Cameron Gray; sister-in-law Carmen (Jim) Cucinello; mother-in-law Janet (Gary) Kallio and father-in-law Wally (Helen) Safford. She is preceded in death by her mother Bunny along with many aunts and uncles.
Visitation for Tara will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at St. Mary's Parish (4805 Sportsman Dr, De Pere, WI 54115) from 9:00AM - 11:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum.
