Tamera (Des Jardins) DeBot, 50, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2025, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Her loving husband, Rob, was at her side. She was born in Green Bay, WI on September 16, 1974, to William and Kathleen (Schuning) Des Jardins. Tamera graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1993. She graduated from NWTC in Radiography, and was employed at Aurora Healthcare as an X-Ray Technician for as long as her body would allow it.
After high school, Tamera moved to Long Beach, California to follow her dreams of becoming a big Hollywood movie star. While she never walked the red carpet, she had more success than most, making appearances on several movies and tv shows such as Family Matters, The Profiler, and The Drew Carey Show, where she was having her hair done while Drew and his brother engaged in a hilarious conversation.
Tamera gave up the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to return home to Green Bay, where she met the love of her life, Rob DeBot in 2011. Inseparable from the start, their love for each other was evident to everyone around them and they were truly the happiest either of them had ever been. Rob and Tamera made it official on May 30th, 2020 at Riverside Ballroom. Together, they forged a great life of joy and laughter. They shared it all with their dogs, Jolly and Oliver. Tamera enjoyed Wisconsin sports, swimming, camping with friends and family, playing cards, bowling, and playing pool. She and Rob shared many laughs together as they were the life of the party wherever they went.
Among her many talents, Tamera had a beautiful signing voice and a knack for being on stage. She marveled the crowd and won karaoke contests with her energetic rendition of I Will Survive. The most memorable display of her singing ability was when she treated her guests to I Love the Nightlife, performed flawlessly in her beautiful wedding dress on the happiest day of her life.
Tamera will be dearly and sorely missed by her many friends, co-workers and family, especially her heartbroken parents. There is nothing more difficult than losing a child. But nobody will miss her more than her husband, Rob, whose everyday life revolved around Tamera…his best friend and soulmate. Their time together on earth was short, but by the grace of God, their souls will be forever intertwined.
“Tamera was the strongest, most optimistic, kind, and beautiful person I have ever met. She made me and everyone she met a better person.” - Rob
“May the force be with you!” - Tamera
