Susan (Weeden) Tubbs, born February 6, 1959, was called home to be with the Lord on July 6, 2021 after her battle with cancer and kidney disease.
Susan was employed as district manager of Checkers. Prior to that she worked in management at several family businesses. Susan was an avid animal lover. She also enjoyed gambling and playing cards.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband Terry, her parents Al & Flo Weeden, her sister Kathy "Weeden" Wilson, niece Sara, and nephew Matt.
She is survived by her brothers Don & John (Diane) Weeden. She had many children and grandchildren between Wisconsin and Georgia who were related by love, not blood.
Her final words to all who knew her were "Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that's how I will remember all of you. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all", a quote by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
"When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart for every time you think of me, I am right here in your heart"
Susan's family would like to thank Unity Hospice for the care and compassion they provided Susan during her final days.
