Susan R. Acheson-Seering, 58, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. She was born April 6, 1955, in Umtalie, S. Rhodesia, to the late Cornell "Woolley" and Maria (Van Der Wath) Acheson.
Sue attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and received an Associate's Degree in Science from Dean Junior College in Franklin, Massachusetts in 1974. In 1985, she became a citizen of the United States.
On June 2, 1998, Sue married Thomas Seering in Green Bay. She was a tennis professional having taught at Western Racquet Club and Four Seasons Tennis Club in Green Bay. Sue's many interests and hobbies included golf, gardening, cooking, and crafting.
She is survived by her husband, Tom; 2 step-children, Jessica (Schawn) Klaus and Thomas Jr. (Jennifer) Seering; grandchildren, Ashley, Janet, and Arabella; 2 sisters, Jacquie Acheson and Delite Scruggs; brother, Graham (Kathy) Acheson; 3 half-brothers, Donald (Claire), John (Becky), and Jeff (Sue) Acheson; nephew, Cory Scruggs; mother-in-law, Rita Seering; and all of the Seering Family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Robert H. Seering.
Family and friends may call Monday, March 10, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Monday at 6:00pm with Ann Froelich Pastoral Associate officiating.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Susan's name.
Sue will be sadly missed by her beloved husband, family, friends, and her Corgi, Molly.
