Susan Mornard

Susan Mornard, age 76, of Green Bay, WI, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 10, 2025, after she battled illness for many years. She was born August 17, 1948 in Escanaba, MI, daughter of the late Harold and Betty (Walker) Meiers.

Susan graduated from Escanaba High School, Class of 1966. She continued her education at numerous colleges including Bay de Noc Community College, NWTC and UW-Green Bay, earning her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Business, Accounting and Human Resources. She worked for many dedicated years as a Director of Human Resources for Leicht-Mayflower Transport and Storage. She married Paul Mornard in 1991 and they were married for 34 blessed years.

Susan and Paul enjoyed traveling, especially to Jamaica. She was a talented cook/baker and loved to golf.

Susan is survived by her husband, Paul; her son, Chris Burklund; 2 step-daughters, Cherie (Matthew) Bayer and Chris Heil; 4 grandchildren and siblings, Harold (Carm) Meiers and Jane Leuskow. She is further survived by nieces and nephews.
