Susan M. (Sanders) Naug, 55, Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014, surrounded by her family.
She was born on December 1, 1958, to Ronald & Elizabeth "Betty" (Raasch) Sanders.
Susan graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School in 1977.
After high school, she worked for the family owned bar & restaurant, Schooners until it closed in 1991. Susan worked for Shopko for over 16 years. For the last five years, she has been a full time "Grandma" caring after her grandkids.
Susan enjoyed spending time at the family cottage at Waubee Lake in Lakewood. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, going to the casino, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends.
Survivors include husband, Brian Cayce; children, Jessy Naug, Tara Cayce, and Brittany Cayce; granddaughters, Madyson Naug, Mya Naug, Kaelynn McCord, and Hadlie Cayce; siblings, Kathryn (Harold) Close, Michael (Shawn) Sanders, and Robert (Dawn) Sanders; mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Sanders; grandmother, Lillian Nau; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald; and maternal grandparents, Ben & Ruby Raasch.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Hal Toenjes officiating. Burial will be at Fort Howard Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her niece, Carrie Dewey, to Jeannie and the rest of the staff at the Bellin Cancer Team and to the staff of Unity Hospice.
