Steven R. Specht

Steven R. Specht, age 49, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on June 7, 1973 in Green Bay the son of Christine (Fairchild) and Roger Specht.

Steve loved spending time with his family, whether he was riding BMX, snowmobiling, going up north camping, fishing, hunting, or laughing with everyone. We couldn't go anywhere without Steve knowing someone and striking up a conversation. He was very kind and caring and was always giving a helping hand to anyone in need.

Steve is survived by his wife, Kris and their children: David and Victoria Prochaska; three grandchildren: Maykayla, Skyler, Lilly; parents, Chris and Roger Specht, two sisters: Margo (Travis) Schenkus and Kelly (Maxwell) Kriescher; nieces and nephews: Ashley, Alyssa, Shelby, Ashley K., Randi, Beau, Bailey, and Audi; he is further survived by aunts, uncles, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents.

Friends and family may visit at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm and a memorial service following at 3:30 pm. The family would like to extend a thank you at all the staff at St. Vincent Hospital for all the wonderful care that was given to him.
