Steven Michael Johnson

Steven Michael Johnson, 62, Green Bay, died unexpectedly on Wednesday evening with his family by his side. Steve was born in Sturgeon Bay on December 19th, 1953. He is the son of the late Stanley and Isabell (Monfils) Johnson. Steve graduated from East High School.
Steve married Sharon Van Egeren, November 2, 1974. They have many special memories together. His greatest joy in life was his time spent with his wife Sharon and their many adventures. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed the company of his best four legged friend "Lady".
Steve is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Jennifer (Paul) Peterson; son, Jeff (Tawni) Johnson; brother, Robert (Glenda) Johnson; sisters, Sandy (Dale) Lardinois and Sharon (Gerald) DeGroot; grandchildren: Sireena, Adam, McKenna, Lydia and Ethan; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley; mother, Isabell; sister, Karen Johnson; 3 brothers: Donny, James and Larry Johnson; nephews, Adam Lardinois and Quinten Johnson and niece, Amy DeGroot.
Friends and relatives may call at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 4 to 6:45 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM. Interment will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in his memory.
Special thanks to the 6th floor ICU unit at St. Vincent Hospital.
