Stephen John Steinmetz, 71, of Green Bay, passed away, Wednesday April 5, 2023 at his home.
Stephen was born on August 6, 1951 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, son of the late Harold and Lorraine (Pribek) Steinmetz. He was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, Class of 1969. Steve worked for many years at Schreiber Foods.
A man of strong faith, Steve was a member at St. Jude's Catholic Church, where he served as an usher for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Steve was a classic car enthusiast and member of the Fox Valley Early Birds.
Stephen is survived by his Son, Christopher Steinmetz; Brother, Robert Steinmetz; Sister, Susan (Rick) Bero; Grandson, Preston J. Schaden as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Steinmetz.
Cremation is planned. A private memorial mass will be held at a later date.
