Stephen John Pilato went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 23, 2021; as per his wishes at his own home in his own bed with his wife and friends by his side and the music he loved was playing. He was born on October 21, 1958 in Lewiston, New York; the son of the late John and Eleanor (Mack) Pilato. He attended and graduated from Lewiston Porter Senior High School. He later graduated from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York; with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. Steve worked for Schneider National as a Regulatory Log Technician for over 10 years. An avid music lover, Jazz being his favorite; he worked in the music industry before his current occupation which he began in 1990.
Steve is survived by his wife of 22 years Pamela, his step-son, Aaron (Jenna Miller) Dangerfield and her two children: Cameron and Amara; "adopted" daughter Jen (Dan) Launer and their son Collin, closest friend Bill Page, as well as his and Pam's two loveable Cavalier dogs: Reggie and Bentley. Steve was beloved by many extended family members and friends who will miss his dearly.
Friends and family may visit at St. Agnes Parish, 1484 9th Street Green Bay, on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with Mass following at 12:00 pm with Celebrant Father Patrick Beno and Father Jim Dillenburg concelebrating.
Steve and Pam wish to thank the staff at Unity Hospice, the nurses at St. Vincent Hospital, the EMTs at County Rescue Services for the gentle transfer, and our many friends who offered help, encouragement and prayers.
