Stephen D. Bouche, 58, Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013.
He was born on September 16, 1954, in Green Bay to Clifford & Myrtle (Hartwig) Bouche.
Stephen graduated from Southwest High School in 1972. He attended NWTI earning an associate's degree in applied science. He then received his bachelor's degree from Lakeland College.
Stephen married Joyce Parma on September 10, 1977, at St. Mattew's Catholic Church in Green Bay. Stephen sold peanuts at Packer games in his youth. He worked various jobs before starting his career at Northwest Engineering. His career also took him to Allis Chalmers in Appleton, WI. He also worked at Prange's, Shopko, American Express and retired from Ameriprise Financial in Spring of 2012.
Stephen loved spending time at the family cottage in Crivitz, WI. He enjoyed woodworking, swimming and traveling. He volunteered regularly with the Boy Scouts of America. He was an Eagle Scout. He was an assistant scout leader and Co-Scoutmaster of Troop 1095 with his dear friend Bill Hubbard.
Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 36 years, Joyce; their two sons, Nicholas (Maria) of Nebraska and Anthony of Ashwaubenon; parents, Clifford & Myrtle Bouche of Green Bay; sister, Lois (Tom) Capelle of Green Bay; two nephews, Chris (Lydia) Capelle of Milwaukee and Nathan Capelle of Washington, D.C. (U.S.Navy); aunts, uncles and many dear friends.
Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, Bill & Selma Hartwig; paternal grandparents, Walter & Clara Bouche; mother and father-in-law, Clarence & Marcella Parma; aunts, Marion Steinfeldt and Rosella Hartwig; uncles, John Steinfeldt, Jerry Buser and Bob Carew.
Friends may call from 3:00pm until 7:00pm on Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, with a parish prayer service at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, August 5, 2013, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St., from 10:00am until 11:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at the church. Entombment will be at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
Stephen's family would like to thank Ashwaubenon Public Safety, doctors and nursing staff of St. Vincent's ER, County Rescue, Dr. Lev, Dr. Mendoza and doctors and nursing staff at Aurora Baycare Medical Center, especially Jennifer, Kerry and Meghan for their excellent care and compassionate support.
