Stacy J. Born

Stacy J. Born, of Green Bay, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021, surrounded by family. Stacy was born March 3, 1961 in Janesville, WI. At the age of 7, the family relocated to Marion, WI. Stacy was a 1979 graduate of Marion High School and earned her nursing degree at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay. Stacy was employed as an LPN at Rennes Nursing Home until she could no longer work. Stacy loved her family, everything Christmas, baking cookies and pies, playing Sheepshead and watching a Packer game or old movie while holding her beloved cat, Boots.
Stacy was a proud member of the Menominee Tribe and as legend goes, family saw an eagle Wednesday, signifying great change and safe journey.

Stacy is survived by her son, Mitchell Malueg, and daughter, Krista Malueg (Rob Stone), and 5 treasured grandchildren: Tannor, Trajen, Sequoia, Anniyah and Amaris.

She is further survived by her favorite sister, Mary (Ron) Scanlan, and her Kindergarten forever friend, Cindy (Doug) Beardmore, nieces and nephews. Stacy was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley "Butch" and Shirley Born.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to thank the staffs at St. Mary's Hospital, St. Vincent Hospital and UW Madison-Health University Hospital for their expertise and care which allowed the family to spend several more years with Stacy.
