Sherry L. Lemieux

Sherry L. LeMieux, 50, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Manor Care East.

Sherry was born on December 23, 1966 in Sturgeon Bay daughter of Linda (LeMieux) Newton and the late Clarence Olson. Sherry was a loving Mom and opened her life and heart to her many step children. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Sherry was an excellent cook and will be remembered for her Pineapple Upside Down Cake, and Fry Bread Tacos. She was kind, patient, and loved by so many. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, Stanley Heuss, and her loving companion, Arthur Bruette and his grandson, Tony Bruette. Sherry also leaves her aunts and uncles: Beverly LeMieux, Raymond (Debra) LeMieux, Donna (Lee W.) LeMieux, Patricia (Ken) Schaefer, Clyde (Nancy) LeMieux, Ricky (Tanya Hogan) LeMieux, Barbara (Elmer) Blair, and Randy (Julie) LeMieux, along with numerous cousins. Sherry is preceded in death by her step-father, Joseph Newton.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 3 - 6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A funeral service celebrating Sherry's life will take place on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.

Sherry's family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to: St. Mary's Hospital, UW Hospital Madison, and Manor Care East for the wonderful care given to her throughout her illness. They would also like to thank the Firekeeper's and the Oneida Community Services for their assistance.
