Shawn Patrick Snyder, age 51, of Green Bay, formerly of Escanaba and Manistique, MI, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his sister's home, surrounded by love. He was born June 30, 1969 in Manistique, MI, son of the late Larry L. Snyder and Georgianna E. (Becks) Pawley and was a graduate of Manistique High School, Class of 1987.
Shawn was a lifelong welder, loved the outdoors and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He loved to shoot pool and had some trophies to show for his talents. He was a loving father to his ferret, Patrick O'Malley. Shawn was a proud Godfather to his niece, Rachel.
Shawn is survived by 5 siblings: Tara Ketchem, Scott (Crystal) Snyder, Lisa (Kevin) Johnson, Kristen (Addie) Boyd and his twin sister, Shannon (Tim) Snyder; nieces and nephews: Steven, Dominic, Christopher, Jason, Ryan, Josh, Rachel, Robbie, Alexa, Michael and Megan; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kim Lalonde.
Private graveside service will be held by Shawn's family at Fairview Cemetery, Manistique, MI.
Shawn's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Aurora Cancer Center, Marinette, MI and to Unity Hospice, De Pere for their excellent care and compassion.
