Shauna Lee Cavanaugh

Shauna Lee Cavanaugh, age 42, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 12th, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 30th, 1980 in Palo Alto, California to Dean Cavanaugh and the late Bonnie Rock.
Shauna was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Green Bay, Class of 1999. After high school Shauna working in housekeeping for a local hospital.
Shauna held a special place in her heart for animals and was especially passionate about horses. She spent many hours volunteering at a local horse farm tending to their many needs. It was through her hard work with the horses that she met her very best friend. She was also an extremely talented artist. Shauna had a kind heart and was always placing others before herself.
Shauna is survived by her father, Dean Cavanaugh; brother, Neil (Sara) Cavanaugh; her nephews, Dean and Owen Cavanaugh and her brother, Ryan Bobik. Shauna is further survived by uncles: Neil Cavanaugh; John (Ann) Cavanaugh; Jeff (Kari) Mose, as well as cousins, Jenny (Andy) Spude and their daughters, Katie and Tess; Emily and her son, Saif, and many other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Rock, uncle, Daniel Cavanaugh and a special aunt, Jill Cavanaugh.
Shauna's family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date.
Shauna's family would like to thank the doctors at St. Mary's and Aurora Hospitals, especially Dr. Napier at Aurora, for their exceptional care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to Make A Wish Foundation in Shauna's name are appreciated.
