Sharon M. Boehm was born in Green Bay, WI on November 3, 1942. She entered Heaven's gates on January 28, 2018.
A consummate mother and homemaker, Sharon, was a great cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. In her recent years, she also loved to watch food and cooking shows. She was also a Packer's fan and enjoyed attending and watching the games on TV. Sharon also enjoyed shopping, watching action movies, and spending hours talking on the phone.
Sharon worked for Shopko and Dr. Watermelon until she retired at age 62.
Sharon was predeceased in death by her mother, Theresa and father, Harold Sueflone. And her great granddaughter, Grace Lillian Eckberg, who passed just after being born two hours after Sharon's passing. Sharon is survived by her husband Rodney. Sharon and Rodney were married on September 15, 1962 and would have celebrated their upcoming 56-year wedding anniversary. Sharon is survived by three daughters Debi Kennaday (Sam), Wendy Leiterman (Mark) and Melanie. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Joshua Eckberg(Connie), Nathan Eckberg (Melissa), Chelsey Kraus (Paul), and Travis Leiterman.
The family would like to thank the Bellin doctors Dr. Roderick Meves, Dr. Amy James, Dr. Sarah Schneider, and Katie Hampton, NP for their concern and compassion. The family would especially like to thank the caregivers at Odd Fellow Home Skilled Nursing Facility for making the final days of her life comfortable and to help ease her pain. We would also like to recognize two special people her life, Janice Minor, her best friend, and her helpful neighbor, Michael Peters.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Brown County Humane Society Animal Shelter would be appreciated. Sharon loved all the animals she had in her life, especially her big Golden Retriever – Sporto.
