Senius W. Nohr, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 16, 2017.
He was born on January 23, 1947, in Lark, WI, to the late Gilbert & Lillian Nohr. Senius graduated from Denmark High School in 1965.
Senius married Jean Maufort on September 5, 1966.
After high school, he attended NWTC where he received training and certification to be a barber. Senius' first barber job was at the Northland Hotel, where he cut many of the Packer great's hair. He was a barber at Bill's Family Hair styling on Mason Street. He later owned and operated Hair-i-tage Styling & Tanning in Green Bay & Howard. Senius was a blackjack dealer for the Oneida Casino for over 15 years.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing cards, cooking, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Senius was a very social person. He enjoyed "entertaining" while he dealt cards. He had a good sense of humor and was quite the jokester. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Jean; sons, Ric Nohr & Aaric (Nicole) Nohr; grandchildren, Morgan, Mason, Mavric, Hunter and Shania Nohr; brother-in-law, Leonard (Elizabeth) Maufort of Black Creek; Larry (Kay) Giese of North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Avis (Lorin) Mayer; and his infant twin sister.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 until time of service at 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
