Sarah L. Tree

Sarah (McGuire) Tree, 54, of Green Bay, passed away Friday, December 4th, 2020, as a result of medical complications. She was born in Green Bay on April 15th, 1966, the daughter of Kathy (McGuire) Peterson and the late Michael McGuire. Sarah graduated from Ashwaubenon High School with the class of 1984 and then worked at Hansens for many years. Sarah's life and spirit remains with us through her beautiful daughters Alexis Elizabeth and Payton Marie; and her grandchild Avianna Greer.

Survivors include her parents, Leon and Kathy A. Peterson, Alexis and Paytons father Mike Tree and her brothers and sisters, Pam and Terry Oettinger (DePere), Kathy Blizzard and Myrna Bellomy (Racine), Peggy Smith (Green Bay), Tim Peterson (Green Bay), Kristin Renteria and Kevin Haynes (Texas), Bryan and Chandi McGuire (Milwaukee), Allen and Shelby McGuire (Howard) and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sarah was preceded in death by her father, Michael McGuire, and her sister Karyn Peterson. She will be reunited with her childhood best friend and cousin Amy Piontek in the afterlife. While she will be missed dearly in our daily lives, peace may be found knowing she will never be alone.

A private service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home. We would like to have our family and friends gather at a later date to celebrate Sarah's life. In lieu of flowers, a Sarah McGuire memorial fund has been established at www.gofundme.com.
