Sandra Kay Goltz, age 77, of Green Bay, passed away on October 14, 2024 in her home after a long 2 year fight with Leukemia.
Sandy was born on March 5, 1947 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Kenneth and Ella Mae Kowaleski. On August 6, 1977, she married Richard Goltz. They raised 2 sons; Kenneth and Elliott.
Sandy's family enjoyed camping, hiking, and camp fires at night. This lead to purchasing land and building a cabin up north in the town of Blackwell, Wisconsin. She was the life of the party and the family photographer. She was an avid music lover and you could always hear her favorite song, Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. She had a quick wit, an infectious smile and a kind and compassionate spirit.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Richard, her 2 children; Kenneth (Sarah) and Elliott (Krystal), her grandchildren; Eliza, Molly and Lily, and her siblings; Kelly (Kelly) Kowaleski and Kim (Robert) Jaklin. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Kenneth and Ella Mae.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301). With Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 am, with Pastor Andy Behrendt officiating.
