Sandra L. Gerbers, age 74, died peacefully Saturday, February 19, 2022 at her home in Green Bay, WI. She was born February 5, 1948 to the late Phillip "Biz" and Marion Kroening (Bonno).
Sandy graduated from West High School in 1966. Sandy was a hairdresser and dabbled in other various careers before dedicating her life to the family business.
Sandy will be remembered for her love of her family as well as for her love of working on websites and graphics, her love of music, hosting Karaoke and most of all … for being everyone's MA.
Sandy was a very unselfish, giving person, who will be dearly missed by her family, friends and especially her daughter Kenda.
Sandy is survived by daughter: Kenda (Jesse) Brunette of Green Bay, WI; sister: Sharon (Stephen "Harvey") Hartwell of Bellevue, WI and sister-in-law Mary Lou Kroening of Green Bay, WI. She was further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many loving friends. Along with her parents, Sandy is preceded in death by her brother Richard "Dick" Kroening whom she loved dearly.
Visitation for Sandy will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Newcomer- Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301) from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A Prayer Service will follow at 7:00 PM. Burial will be held at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
A Celebration for Sandy's Life will be held at a later date.
A special thank you to the hospice staff at Unity, Newcomer Funeral Home, Inclusa, St. Mary's and St. Vincent's Hospitals and Christian Servants Home Care (special thank you to Sheila and Brittany).
