Sandra A. "Sandy" Cota
September 20, 1932 - October 8, 2021
Sandy spent her childhood in Gillett, Wisconsin with her loving parents, Elmer "Stub" Cota and Kathleen McDonell Cota, her grandparents and extended family.
After she received her degree in Journalism, she worked as a reporter at the local newspaper in Dubuque, Iowa and Racine, Wisconsin. She then joined the staff at the Milwaukee Journal where she remained until retirement.
She retired to her home in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. With the woods and Peshtigo River, she could watch her birds, deer, bears and other wildlife as they visited her property.
Throughout her life, Sandy supported and was active in many charities, including providing education and support for her human family. She also supported environmental endeavors and endowed scholarships for environmental studies.
Her family and friends all know she is now joyful with the Lord.
