Sandra Lou "GG" Burrie, 77, of Suamico, entered into eternal life peacefully on January 1, 2024 from her recent illness and from her broken heart due to the recent loss of her beloved soul mate.
She was born on September 22, 1946 to Leonard and Marie (Andryczak) Frankowski in Milwaukee. She married the love of her life, Dave Burrie on June 6, 1964 and together they raised four beautiful children. Her faith and her family was the center of her life. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed being a Boy Scouts Master. She also enjoyed bowling, camping, traveling and the Packers. She had a special love for dogs and Christmas was her favorite holiday with her family. Her and Dave would both actively attend church together before her illness. She was well known for her quick wit and patience, was a huge social butterfly and for making anyone laugh.
She lived a very blessed life and was dedicated to witnessing and supporting the birth of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sandy was a strong rock for her entire family. She adored and loved her husband very much, she was lost without him. Her best career was staying at home raising her children before entering the work force. She worked in grocery retail, assisting a friend with cleaning homes, manufacturing and retired from AMS Insurance.
Sandy is survived by her four children: Sheryl (Jim) Cavin, David Burrie Jr., Brenda (Rod) Brock and Christine (Kyle) Ondik; four grandchildren: Cady (David Villwock) and Nicole Cavin, Belinda Brock and Angelynn Frewerd; and two great-grandchildren, Maylene and Alek Villwock. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dave Burrie; her parents; daughter-in-law, Tammy Sheppard-Burrie; one sister, Diane (Carl) Wicinski; and one brother, Roger (Sharon Doepke) Frankowski.
Memorials are suggested to the Billy Graham Association.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Chapel, 800 High Meadow Ct, Green Bay. A visitation will start one hour prior until the time of the service.
